Looks like Sprint is handing out a couple of Lollipops today.
Sprint has announced that both its Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Note Edge will begin receiving Android 5.0 today, April 9. The support pages for both phones list Android 5.0 as the main enhancement, but the Note Edge is also slated to get Wi-Fi Calling enhancements and Factory Reset Protection.
In addition to the aforementioned tweaks, you Sprint Note 3 and Note Edge owners should expect some Material Design tweaks in your device’s user interface, including lock screen notifications. To grab these updates and see what Lollipop is all about, grab your Note 3 and go to Settings > General > System Update > Update Now, or your snag your Note Edge and go into Settings > SYSTEM > System update > Update Now.
