Some mobile manufacturers have special groups for their biggest fans that help promote the brand, and in turn, those fans can occasionaly get rewards and early access to new products. HTC elevate is one such community, and now it looks like Motorola is creating a similar group of its own.
Motorola recently began sending invitations to a group called Moto Makers that will give members access to Google Hangouts with Motorola executives, products to test and review, invites to Motorola events, and news about the company. In return, Motorola asks that Moto Makers members recommend, review, and share all things Motorola with their friends and family.
As I said before, several device makers have fan communities, so it’s no surprise to see Motorola making one too so that it can reward its biggest fans and help them spread the word about its new products. Details on Moto Makers is pretty light right now, but Motorola has already secured several social media pages for the group and a full-on website. Right now it looks like the only way to join is to get an invitation from Moto Makers, so if you want in, you’d better start spreading the Moto love.
