If you’ve got a Nexus 5 or Nexus 6 and always have to be on the bleeding edge of software, you’ve got some flashing to do.

Google has posted new Android 5.1 factory images for both the Nexus 5 and Nexus 6. The new builds are LMY47I and are available for downloading and flashing from the Google Developer website. This is the third Android 5.1 build that Google has made available for the N6 and the second for the N5.

As a reminder, flashing these factory images will totally wipe your device, so be sure to back up all of your important information before updating. As for what’s included, the folks at Android Police found that there are some SIM tweaks and a few other changes. It’s not surprising that this is a fairly small update since the build number hasn’t changed much from previous builds, but if you’ve got a Nexus 5 or Nexus 6, you can now be on the absolute latest version of Android.
