The new Moto E (2nd Gen.) sure is getting around. After launching at Cricket, Sprint, and Boost earlier this month, Motorola’s latest affordable Android has hit another U.S. carrier.
Verizon is now selling the Moto E (2nd Gen.) on its prepaid service. The device is available in black and costs $99.99 without a commitment.
Verizon’s Moto E (2nd Gen.) features the same specs as the models that’ve launched on other carriers, meaning that it’s got a 4.5-inch 960x540 display, 5-megapixel rear and VGA front cameras, quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, 8GB of storage, a microSD Card slot, 1GB of RAM, and 4G LTE. The phone is powered by a combination of 2390mAh battery and Android 5.0. One thing that is different about the Verizon Moto E (2nd Gen.) is that it’s got a Verizon logo printed on its backside.
Considering its price, 4G LTE support, and the fact that it runs Android 5.0 out of the box, the Moto E (2nd Gen.) could make for a good choice for budget-conscious Verizon prepaid shoppers. It’s good to see Motorola’s latest affordable Android handset continue to make its way to more operators.
