It’s Update Wednesday, Android fans! To start things off, Google is rolling out updates to Chrome and Chrome Beta.
First up, Chrome for Android is being updated to version 41.0.2272.92. The update brings with it pull-to-refresh for “most pages,” as well as some bug fixes and performance improvements.
If you’re running Chrome Beta for Android, you’re going to be updated to version 42.0.2311.38. That update brings support for notifications from sites when they pots updates, an easier way to add sites to your home screen, and some bug fixes and performance improvements.
These look like some nice updates for both versions of Chrome. Pull-to-refresh is a pretty well-known way to refresh feeds for things like Twitter, and so the arrival of the feature in Chrome adds a new way to refresh a page that most folks know how to use. Meanwhile, the Chrome Beta update will make it easier for you to stay connected to your favorite sites and be alerted whenever they get updated.
