Remember earlier this week when several U.S. carriers posted the same “Six Appeal” teaser for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge? Well now another promotional image has surfaced, and this one’s a bit more revealing than the previous ones.
The new Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge image popped up on the /r/Sprint subreddit, and the source is listed as a “Verified Employee” of the big yellow carrier. The image is a promo for a Sprint contest that’ll give six Galaxy S6 and GS6 Edge devices to people that share their email address to receive more information on Sprint’s GS6 launch plans.
As for the devices themselves, they look certainly look like Samsung devices, sporting rounded edges and silver earpieces with the Samsung logo beneath them. They both appear to have metal outer edges, and the Galaxy S6 Edge does seem to have two curved sides, though the side displays don’t seem to extend quite as far as they do on the Galaxy Note Edge.
Thanks to this newly-leaked promo image and all of the photos that showed up earlier this week, it seems like we’ve got a pretty good idea of what Samsung’s new Android flagships look like. They’re definitely Samsung-y, but the inclusion of some metal could help give the Galaxy S6 a more premium feel over its predecessors.
Samsung is slated to introduce both its new phones on March 1.
