U.S. Cellular announced today that it’s cutting the prices on its Shared Connect plans and also cutting the monthly access charge for its 8GB plan.
The prices of U.S. Cellular’s 1GB, 3GB, 6GB, 8GB, and 20GB Shared Connect plans have been reduced and are now set at $30, $50, $60, $80, and $140 per month, respectively. U.S. Cellular has also reduced the monthly connection charge for the 8GB plan to just $10 per month. Previously the $10 monthly connection charge was only available on plans with 10GB or higher. Customers on plans with 6GB of data or less will pay $20 per month for each smartphone that they connect.
It’s worth noting that these device connection charges apply to customers that bring their own device or buy a phone through U.S. Cellular’s Upgrade Program that offers monthly installments. For more details on U.S. Cellular’s price cuts, you can find the official announcement at the link below.
