There’s been a bit of back and forth lately surrounding the HTC One M9 and its design. Some leaks have suggested that HTC’s new Android flagship will look largely similar to the One (M8), while others have hinted that we’ll see a redesign. Today another report has surfaced in support of the former.
Well-known leaker @upleaks has posted a couple of images and three separate videos that are said to show the HTC One M9. The device looks largely similar to the One (M8), but with a power/lock button on its side. The “Introduction” video claims to show off features like Themes and an HTC Sense Home Widget that’ll display apps based on your location.
These newly-leaked images show a device that’s totally different that the one that showed up in late January with redesigned BoomSound speakers, a centered front-facing camera, and more. So which is the real deal? We won’t know for sure until March 1, but it’s possible that HTC has created some legit-looking-but-ultimately-fake One M9 press assets in order to throw off the leaks. That’s a theory that’s been tossed out by @evleaks, and considering how heavily-leaked the One (M8) was leading up to its official debut, HTC may have decided to go all-out to protect the One M9.
Which HTC One M9 do you think will end up being real?
