Looks like those rumors of some AT&T prepaid data increases were true.

AT&T has announced that on February 20, it’s boosting the high-speed data allotments of its $60 and $45 GoPhone prepaid plans. The $60 offering will grow from 2.5GB to 4GB, while the $45 plan will go from 1GB to 1.5GB. Both plans will still include unlimited talk and text, mobile hotspot, and unlimited data that will be throttled to 128kbps after your high-speed data allotment is used.

Additionally, customers on AT&T’s $60 GoPhone plan will get unlimited calling to Mexico for free on February 20. Only calls from the U.S., Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands to Mexico will be free.

These are some boosts for AT&T’s two top-end prepaid smartphone plans, especially for the $60 plan that’ll also include unlimited calling to Mexico starting on February 20. Plus, unlike some other prepaid carriers that operate on AT&T’s network, GoPhone customers get full-speed access to AT&T’s LTE service.
