Just a week after Verizon added new data tiers to its More Everything plans, AT&T has announced that it’s adding a new tier to its own Mobile Share Value plans.
Starting February 15, AT&T will offer a 7GB Mobile Share Value plan that’ll include unlimited talk, texting and 7GB of shareable data. The plan will include Rollover Data, which lets you carry your unused data from one month into the next. AT&T says that the 7GB tier will be available “for a limited time.”
As for pricing, the new 7GB Mobile Share Value plan will run you $75 per month plus a per line device access charge. Customers that buy a new smartphone through AT&T Next or bring their own device and sign up for the 7GB tier will pay $15 per month per line, while two-year contract customers will pay $40.
This new 7GB Mobile Share Value plan sits in-between the 6GB and 10GB tiers that cost $70 and $100, respectively. The new 7GB tier is a no-brainer if you’re thinking about the 6GB tier because not only will it only cost $5 more per month, you’ll get a cheaper per-line access fee if you go AT&T Next as well, since the 6GB plan comes with a $25 per month line charge.
Once the new plan goes live on February 15, you’ll be able to sign up in an AT&T store, through AT&T’s website, or using the myAT&T app.
