This month, both AT&T and T-Mobile will launch rollover data features that let customers carry unused data from one month into the next. It’s worth noting, though, that regional operator C Spire Wireless has had this offering since late 2014. Now, hot on the heels of AT&T and T-Mobile’s rollover data moves, C Spire says that it’s improving its own version.
C Spire Wireless will begin offering shareable rolling data on January 19. The offering will be available on C Spire’s 10GB, 15GB, and 30GB shared data plans, and it’ll be added free of charge.
Once the feature goes live, customers on those three plans will begin getting their unused data from one month rolled into the next that can be shared among all users. C Spire also notes that its shareable rolling data plans don’t force customers to use their plan data first or expire the unused rollover data at the end of each month.
