First there was Milk Music, then Milk Video, and now we’ve got Milk VR.
Samsung today announced Milk VR, a video service aimed at its Gear VR virtual reality headset. Milk VR offers free 360-degree videos that Gear VR owners can download or stream. Samsung says that it wants to make using Milk VR a “daily habit” for users, and so it plans to trickle out content on a regular basis. It’s expected that the videos will vary in length between 1 and 10 minutes.
Because the Gear VR is still limited in its availability, many of us likely won’t get to use Milk VR for a while. Those folks that do have both a Gear VR headset and a Galaxy Note 4 are likely happy to have more things to do with their virtual reality gear.
