BLU Products today announced a trio of new smartphones, and the good news is that they’re all at least *a bit* smaller than the BLU Studio 7.0 that debuted earlier this month.
The first BLU device is the most high-end of the trio. BLU’s Studio 6.0 LTE packs a 6-inch 1920x1080 display, 1.6GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and a microSD card slot. Powering the Studio 6.0 LTE is a 3200mAh battery and Android 4.4, and as its name suggests the device also has support for 4G LTE of the 1700/2600MHz variety.
One step down is the BLU Studio 5.0 HD LTE. This one’s got a 5-inch 1280x720 display, 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, and a microSD card slot. Also included is a 2200mAh battery, Android 4.4, and 1700/2600MHz 4G LTE.
Finally, the BLU Studio Mini LTE is the smallest of the group. It’s got a 4.5-inch 854x480 screen, 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 5-megapixel rear and 0.3-megapixel front cameras, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of storage, a microSD card slot, an 1850mAh battery, and Android 4.2.2. BLU says that the Studio Mini LTE is “upgradable to 4.4.” Additionally, the Studio Mini LTE’s got 700/1700/2600MHz 4G LTE support.
All three of BLU’s new smartphones are available from Amazon at $279 for the Studio 6.0 LTE, $199 for the Studio 5.0 HD LTE, and $119 for the Studio Mini LTE. It’s worth noting that the Studio 6.0 LTE and Studio 5.0 HD LTE are compatible with T-Mobile and MetroPCS 4G LTE, but not AT&T’s LTE. The Studio Mini LTE, meanwhile, supports 4G LTE on AT&T, Cricket, T-Mobile, MetroPCS, Tracfone, Simple Mobile and more.
