If you passed on the Spotify Family plan that launched last month, the music streaming service has a new deal that may get you to finally sign up for its premium offering.
Spotify’s new promotion gives three months of its Premium service, which is ad-free and includes offline listening, for just $0.99. A single month of Spotify Premium typically costs $9.99, so this is a pretty good deal. The offer will run through December 31.
Unsurprisingly, there is one caveat with Spotify’s holiday promo. The offer is only available to new subscribers, so anyone that’s already enrolled in Premium service are ineligible, as are past Premium subscribers and anyone that’s taken a trial.
If you’re a totally new Spotify user that qualifies for this promotion, it’s definitely worth looking into. After all, three months of Spotify Premium would normally cost you nearly $30, but you can get it for less than $1. And if you don’t think that the service is worth $9.99 per month once your first three months are up, then you can just cancel the service.
