After the rumor mill gave us sneak peeks of the BlackBerry Passport in red, the device and its availability details are now officially official.
BlackBerry today confirmed both the red and white versions of the BlackBerry Passport and revealed how consumers can get their hands on both models. The red and white Passports are available for pre-order from Shop BlackBerry today for $699 and $599, respectively, and they’ll officially go on sale on November 28. Both models will be sold by Amazon as well.
BlackBerry has a history of offering its phones in white, so the existence of the white Passport is no surprise. The red Passport is definitely interesting, though, and it offers BlackBerry fans the opportunity to have a super bright phone that’s a bit different than your typical ‘Berry fare. It’s worth noting that anyone that wants a colorful Passport will have to pay extra to get one, as the black Passport is currently on sale for $499.99 while the white and red models are $100 and $200 more.
