One of the perks of CyanogenMod is its customizability, giving users a near-stock build of Android and then letting them tweak things however they see fit. Making the software on your phone yours can be a bit time-intensive, but a new Cyanogen app aims to fix that.
Cyanogen today announced the new Themes app for CyanogenMod. Just as you’d expect, the app lets you customize the software on your phone, including the fonts, icons, wallpapers, boot animation and more. Cyanogen has also launched a new Cyanogen Themes community on Google+ for sharing your newly-created themes. The Cyanogen Themes app will be available “soon.”
Android is known for its customizability, and this new Themes app for Cyanogen makes that feature available to all. Not everyone has the time or technical expertise to hunt down fonts, icon packs and more to personalize their device, but with Themes, they don’t need to. If you’re a bit Android themes, this new Themes app is sure to make you consider loading CyanogenMod onto your device.
Have you changed the font, icons, boot animation or anything else about your phone or tablet? If so, what’d you tweak?
