US Cellular promised last month that it would launch the LG G3 in October, and the carrier has kept its word.
The LG G3 is now available for purchase from US Cellular’s website and in its stores. Pricing is set at $99.99 with a two-year contract or $500.16 without. The USCC LG G3 is the same model that’s available on other US carriers, meaning that it’s got the following spec list:
US Cellular is also selling the LG G Pad 7.0 LTE, which offers a 7-inch 1280x800 display, 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 5-megapixel rear and 1.3-megapixel front cameras, 16GB of storage with a microSD slot, 4G LTE, Android 4.4 and a 4000mAh battery. The LG G Pad 7.0 LTE is available for $99.99 with a two-year contract, $0 down and 24 payments of $11.25 each or $270 full retail.
While the US Cellular versions of the LG G3 and LG G Pad 7.0 LTE are launching a bit later than they did on other US carriers, it’s still great to see them finally be made available. The LG G3 is one of the top smartphones of 2014, and it’s good that more people will now have access to it without having to switch operators.
