Got any jealous friends that didn’t receive an Inbox by Gmail invitation yesterday? If so, you can now make their Friday by getting them into Google’s new email offering.
Google just announced that existing Inbox by Gmail users can now invite three friends to the service. In order to send an invitation, you need to click on the red Speed Dial compose button in the lower left corner of your app (or hover over the button in the web app) and then enter your buddy’s email address. Just a note: Inbox only currently works with personal Gmail addresses.
It was kind of a bummer when we first learned that Inbox is invite-only on Wednesday, but Google has quickly ramped up the number of users on the service by sending out invitations itself yesterday and now allowing existing users to join in. So hooray for that.
