Looks like our October just got a bit busier!

Apple is now sending out invitations to an event that’ll take place on Thursday, October 16. The invitation includes part of a colorful Apple logo along with the caption “It’s been way too long.”

It’s widely expected that Apple will introduce new iPad models at this upcoming event, including the iPad Air 2 that leaked earlier today. The new iPads are expected to be thinner, sport Touch ID fingerprint readers and come in gold, like the iPhone. The rumor mill also suggests that we’ll see Retina iMacs debut at the show, and we’ll probably see OS X Yosemite launch to the public around that date as well.
