After teasing last month that it would launch the Moto E in October for just $99, the folks at Republic Wireless have finally revealed exactly when you’ll be able to pick up Motorola’s affordable smartphone.
The Moto E will launch on Republic Wireless on October 15, but the operator says that a “select group” of consumers that signed up to learn more about the Moto E over email will be able to buy the device tomorrow, October 8. Pricing will be $99 plus taxes.
While the Moto E is the lowest-end model of Motorola’s original Moto trio, it’s still a respectable little handset for its price. And since Republic already sells the Moto X and Moto G, adding the Moto E to its lineup will ensure that customers can snag a new Motorola Android phone no matter what their budget is.
