After sending out invitations to its “Double Exposure” event that’s taking place on October 8, HTC today posted the first teaser for its upcoming shindig.
Titled “Something Remarkable Is Coming,” the 37-second video shows several people handling what appears to be a GoPro-type of camera. The device is shown being used underwater and to capture slow motion video. Several times, we can see the subject pick the device up and move it to get a better shot.
In the caption of the video, HTC tells us to go to “RECamera.com” on October 8 for the debut of a “remarkable new product.” And before you open up a new tab and begin typing in that URL, I already tried going to the site, and there’s nothing there yet.
Considering the point of view shown in this teaser video and the fact that HTC’s URL includes the word “camera,” it seems even more likely that Peter Chou and Co. are planning to show some sort of camera device on October 8. Exactly what that is is still a mystery, but judging by this clip, the device looks like it should be able to handle getting active with you.
What do you think HTC will announce on October 8?
