Most of the BlackBerry faithful are looking forward to the arrival of the BlackBerry Passport later this month, but if you’d prefer something a bit more luxurious, BlackBerry’s got a different device for you.
The Porsche Design P’9983 is now officially official, combining the form factor of the BlackBerry Q10 with the high-end design of devices like the P’9981 and P’9982. The full spec list for the new P’9983 is as follows:
Of course, there are several other features that make the P’9983 unique. Those include a metallic housing, special “glass-like” keys that feature a 3D effect and silver font and a unique PIN from the 2AAXXXXX that’ll make you easily identifiable as a Porsche Design user.
While most of us won’t every touch or probably even see a real Porsche Design P’9983, it looks like a nice offering for the luxury smartphone market. It’s got a high-quality design with a touchscreen and physical keyboard, giving users a more traditional BlackBerry experience than the full-touch P’9982.
The Porsche Design P’9983 will go on sale in Porsche Design stores and other select retailers in October 2014. There’s no word on how much it’ll cost, but I’d be willing to bet that its price is well above $1,000.
Would you buy the BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9983 if you had the cash to spare?
