While the past couple of weeks have been big for Apple fans, those that aren’t so fond of the Cupertino firm are likely glad that the new iPhone models are almost out so that the Apple news will come to an end. Unfortunately for them, it looks like Apple won’t be out of the news cycle for long.
A report from The Daily Dot claims that Apple is planning to hold an event on October 21 to introduce new large and small iPads as well as announce the availability of OS X Yosemite.
Apple announced the iPad Air and iPad mini with Retina display on October 22, 2013. Because Apple is a company of cycles, it seems likely that the next iPad hardware announcement will come sometime around that date this year. October 21 is a Tuesday this year, and that date seems like a good fit for Apple’s next tablet announcement.
What features do you hope to see included with Apple’s next iPad models?
UPDATE: The well-connected Jim Dalrymple says that Apple will not hold an event on October 21 for its new iPad models.
