After launching the Moto X in November 2013 and the Moto G in April 2014, Republic Wireless today said that its relationship with Motorola is going to continue going strong in October.
The Moto E will launch at Republic Wireless in October for $99 without a commitment. The E will be compatible with all of Republic’s plans, which start at $5 for unlimited talk, text and data over Wi-Fi and go up to $10 and $25 when you add cellular access.
As a refresher, the Moto E features a 4.3-inch display, 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor, 5-megapixel rear camera, 4GB of storage, a microSD card slot, a 1980mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat. It’s a nice little smartphone for the price, and since Republic prides itself on its affordability, it’s great to see that the operator will offer an even more affordable handset that the Moto G and Moto X.
