The FCC has frequently given us early peeks at upcoming smartphones through their certification documents. Apparently the same thing happens in Brazil, as that country’s equivalent of the FCC has shared images of the unannounced Nokia Lumia 830.
Anatel, a Brazilian certification agency, has posted several external photos of the Lumia 830 as well as its user manual. The photos show an all black device with Nokia branding, headphone and microUSB ports on its top, capacitive navigation buttons on its face and a round camera housing on its rear.
The Lumia 830 also shows that it carries the model number “RM-985,” and the internals of the phone feature “Microsoft Mobile” branding. Other Lumia 830 features revealed by this listing include a microSD card slot and 4G LTE.
The device shown in these photos looks fairly similar to the white unit that leaked out in early July. If this device is indeed the Lumia 830, it’s likely that it’ll be a mid-range handset. As for what it’s full spec list might be, well, we’ll probably learn all of those details at Microsoft’s IFA event on Sept. 4.
