If the rumors of a Windows Phone 8.1-flavored HTC One (M8) don’t pique your interest, Microsoft allegedly has a couple of devices that you may be interested in.a
New details on two Windows Phone handsets from Microsoft have leaked out this morning. First up is what Microsoft devices head Stephen Elop allegedly described as a “selfie phone.” The device, which is said to be the Superman that we’ve heard about previously, features a 4.7-inch display and 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
The second phone is codenamed Tesla. This device is said to be the mysterious Lumia that appeared in leaked images early in July. The Tesla will allegedly be a follow-up to the Lumia 720 and sport a PureView camera.
Obviously details on both the Superman and Tesla are still light right now, but apparently it won’t be like that for long, because Elop said that the two phones will be introduced soon. Both are expected to be “affordable.” Unfortunately for anyone hoping for a new high-end Windows Phone from Microsoft, it doesn’t sound like either of these devices will fit the bill. Those folks may want to keep an eye on the HTC One (M8) for Windows, which could arrive as soon as next month.
