When the LG G3 was first announced back in May, LG said that its new flagship would be released in five colors: Silk White, Shine Gold, Metallic Black, Moon Violet and Burgundy Red. Those first three hues are now widely available, but the last two still haven’t hit store shelves. Today LG revealed that that’ll finally change soon.
In a statement given to PhoneArena, LG has said that the Moon Violet and Burgundy Red versions of the G3 will hit “select markets” starting in August and continuing over the following weeks. The Life’s Good crew didn’t share exact launch timing and places, but it did say that those announcements will be made in the future in conjunction with local carriers.
Having more color options when buying a new smartphone is always a good thing, especially when those colors offer something different than the white, black and gold hues that most handsets are available in. With launches that are slated to begin next month, here’s to hoping that we get carrier announcements of the Moon Violet and Burgundy Red LG G3 models soon.
Between all five colors that the LG G3 will eventually be available in, which hue do you think looks the best?
