Well, that didn’t take long. A little over a week after Nokia announced that it was starting to push Windows Phone 8.1 to its existing Lumia devices, AT&T has released the update for its version of the Lumia 1520.
AT&T says that the Windows Phone 8.1 update is now rolling out to the Nokia Lumia 1520, bringing with it WP8.1 features like the Cortana personal assistant, the Word Flow keyboard, Action Center notification panel and more.
While the Windows Phone 8.1 update is just a 0.1 upgrade from Windows Phone 8, it’s actually a pretty significant update that Lumia 1520 owners will want to snag as soon as possible. Included are a number of features that help to make Windows Phone more competitive in the smartphone market, and tweaks like Start screen background make Microsoft’s OS more customizable, too.
If you’re rocking a Nokia Lumia 1520 with an AT&T tattoo, you can check for your Windows Phone 8.1 update right now by heading into Settings > Phone Update.
