Heads up, Instagrammers, because today a new update is rolling out to the Android and iOS versions of the photo-sharing app that brings new editing tools.
Instagram says that the version 6.0 update includes several new creative tools to tweak your photos. After snapping your photo, you can tap on the wrench icon in the filter menu and you’ll be presented with a set of tools that includes adjustments for:
Version 6.0 of Instagram for Android and iOS will hit both the Google Play Store and App Store today, June 3. Instagram hasn’t said when the tools might make the way to the Windows Phone version of the app.
Besides its filters, Instagram previously offered some basic tools like the ability to straighten an image. This new set of tools makes Instagram a much more fully-fledged photo-editing app that could make the the only app you need to tweak images.
