It looks like any element of surprise that Motorola had been hoping to have for its May 13 event is now gone, because just one day after we got our first look at the Moto E, new images have leaked that give us a clear look at the upcoming handset.
Brazilian retailer FastShop today put a product page for the Moto E on its website, revealing not only what the new Motorola smartphone looks like, but what’s inside of it as well. Here’s the spec list that the site gave for the Moto E:
The Moto E doesn’t look terribly different from the Moto X and Moto G, sporting rounded edges and a Motorola-branded dimple beneath its rear camera. If its spec sheet holds true, though, it should be significantly cheaper than its Moto siblings. The Moto G launched with a 4.5-inch 720p display, quad-core processor and 8GB of storage for $179, so I wouldn’t be surprised if the Moto E hit store shelves at around $100 or $150 without a contract.
What do you think of the Moto E? Are any of you thinking about picking one up, even just to have as a backup smartphone?
