We’re now less than 24 hours away from Samsung’s big “Kapture the Moment” event, and it seems that Sammy has decided to drum up some last-minute hype for its shindig with a couple of teasers.
First up is an Instagram video that depicts the Red Dot Design Museum where Samsung’s event is scheduled to take place. During the video, the viewer is zoomed into and out of the front of the Red Dot Design Museum. Samsung also mentions in the caption that we will “meet #TheNextGalaxy” on April 29.
The second teaser is an image posted to Samsung Mobile’s official Facebook page. The photo appears to be a close-up shot of the Galaxy K’s camera, with one large outer ring and then several smaller inner rings. We can also see that the device in the image appears to have a faux leather finish similar to the one found on the Galaxy Note 3.
It’s widely expected that Samsung will introduce its new Galaxy K cameraphone at its upcoming event. Likely landing as the successor to the Galaxy S4 zoom, the Galaxy K is rumored to feature a 4.8-incy 720p Super AMOLED display, hexa-core processor and 20-megapixel rear camera with a 10x optical zoom and Xenon flash. If those specs hold true, the Galaxy K ought to be quite an improvement over the Galaxy S4 zoom, especially with its slimmer body.
