Heads up, AT&T customers, because your carrier announced today that it’s trying to help you over the mid-week hump with some piping hot 4G LTE coverage.
AT&T today announced that it’s rolled new LTE service out to several markets across the country. The list of newly-activated locales that’ve been named so far includes:
AT&T has been rolling its LTE coverage out on a fairly regular basis in recent months, and the big blue carrier has said that it expects to be largely complete with the rollout by summer 2014.
Looking ahead, AT&T has already begun testing its LTE-Advanced network in multiple U.S. cities, including Chicago. Ol’ Blue hasn’t revealed much else about its LTE-A plans yet, but it’s good to see that AT&T is hard at work on bringing LTE to all of its customers while also getting ready for the next flavor of LTE.
