Much of the recent HTC news has focused on the launch of the One (M8) and the One (M7)’s upgrade to Sense 6. Today we’re going back in time a bit, though, as HTC has announced that the DROID DNA will soon receive a new update.
HTC executive Mohammad Versi just announced that Verizon has approved the DROID DNA’s update to Android 4.4.2 and Sense 5.5. Versi says that the update should begin going out over the air on April 24.
The DROID DNA’s KitKat update is coming a little later than HTC’s previous estimate, but hey, the good news is that it’s finally almost here. And while we don’t have a ton of information on what goodies the update will bring, it won’t be much longer before the rollout begins and all is revealed. Get excited, DNA owners!
