Samsung may want its Gear wearables to be compatible with every Android smartphone, but for now they only work with its own Galaxy-branded devices. Today Samsung took to its official blog to name all 20 Galaxy products that play nicely with its Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit:
Obviously we’d all prefer if Samsung’s wearables were compatible with any and all Android hardware. Until that happens, though, at least Sammy’s Gear devices are supported on a large number of Galaxy devices. The biggies are the recent Galaxy S and Galaxy Note phones, which likely make up the majority of Samsung’s user base.
