Samsung has officially announced of the newest member of its Galaxy family of Android handsets, the Galaxy Ace Style.
The Ace Style has a low to mid-range spec list that includes a 4-inch WVGA display and VGA camera on its face as well as a 5-megapixel camera on its backside. Sandwiched inside of its body is a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 4GB of storage, microSD card slot, 512MB of RAM and a 1500mAh battery.
On the software side of things, the Galaxy Ace Style comes preloaded with Android 4.4 KitKat running beneath Samsung’s TouchWiz Essence user interface. That includes ChatON, Samsung’s messaging service that just got a significant update with new features like message recall and support for file transfers up to 1GB in size.
Samsung says that the Galaxy Ace Style will begin rolling out around the globe this month in Cream White and Dark Gray color options. There’s no mention of exactly which countries the Ace Style will be available in or how much the device will cost. Considering its lower-end spec sheet, though, Sammy’s latest Galaxy shouldn’t put too much of a hurt on buyers’ wallets.
