When Oppo took the wraps off of the Find 7 and Find 7a last month, it said that the former would launch in May or June at a price of $599 while the latter would land in mid-April for $499. Well it’s very nearly mid-April, and just as promised, the Find 7a is now available for purchase from Oppo’s website.
Oppo is currently accepting orders for the U.S. version of the Find 7a through its online store. The device is priced at $499 and includes the Find 7a as well as a free navy Easy Color, an additional 2800mAh battery, a 32GB SanDisk microSD card and free shipping.
Need a quick refresher on exactly what you’re getting in exchange for your hard-earned $499? Happy to oblige:
While it may not have the crazy high-res 2560x1440 display that the regular Find 7 does, the Find 7a still boasts a pretty respectable feature set. Oppo’s $499 asking price for the Find 7a may seem steep to those U.S. shoppers that are used to the carrier subsidy model, but it’s actually reasonable for an unlocked smartphone with a 1080p screen and a 13-megapixel shooter.
If you’re interested in making the Find 7a your next daily driver, you can find a blue “Add to cart” button to coax your credit card out of its wallet at the link below.
