Apparently Sprint has a lot of KitKat treats to give out lately, because less than a week after it began pushing Android 4.4.2 to the HTC One max, it's started the KitKat rollout for LG's G2.
Sprint has announced that starting today, March 31, its version of the LG G2 will be receiving an update to Android 4.4.2. The update bumps the G2 up to software version ZVB and includes both a fix for a Next Radio audio issue as well as an upgrade to KitKat and all of the goodies that come along with it.
Both the AT&T and T-Mobile versions of the LG G2 have been updated to Android 4.4.2 in the past month, and so it's nice to see that the Sprint version of LG's flagship hardware is finally getting some KitKat love as well. Here's to hoping that updates for other major LG handsets — like the G Flex — aren't too far off.
If you're rocking a Sprint-branded LG G2 and want to manually check for your KitKat update, head on in to Settings > System updates > Update LG software > Check now.
