Recent leaks have suggested that Verizon's Android tablet selection is about to get quite a bit larger, with both the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro and LG G Pad 8.3 reportedly headed for the big red carrier's shelves. Now another leak has surfaced that not only backs up the previous ones, but it also gives us a date on which we could see both slates launch.
According to a image shared by Android Police, Verizon is planning to launch the Galaxy Note Pro and G Pad 8.3 on March 6, aka next Thursday. No pricing information for either device has been revealed.
While nothing is official until Samsung, LG or Verizon says it is, it's worth noting that Verizon does have a habit of releasing new hardware on Thursdays. If this leak holds true, next Thursday will be a pretty nice day for Verizon folk that are fond of tablets (and large branding), especially since the 12.2-inch Note Pro and 8.3-inch G Pad are so different in size. Now we just need to wait for official word from Big Red, which should be along any day now if today's leaked info is the real deal. Stay tuned.
