We've already got two different versions of the LG G Pad 8.3: a regular model with LG's custom Android overlay, and a second version that's a Google Play edition with straight-up Android 4.4. Now it looks like we'll soon have a third unit to add to that list.
New images shared by @evleaks has revealed that the LG G Pad 8.3 will soon be sold by Verizon. The leaked renders show a black G Pad 8.3 with Verizon 4G LTE branding above its display, on its backside and in its status bar. We can also see that Verizon's version of the G Pad 8.3 will come with LG's custom Android user interface preinstalled.
Recent leaks have shown that Verizon is getting a little tablet-crazy, with both the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro and Galaxy Note 10.1 - 2014 Edition headed Big Red's way. Now we know that LG will contribute a slate of its own to Verizon's shelves, giving shoppers that want a cellular-enabled tablet an option that's a bit smaller than Samsung's offerings. There's no word yet on when Verizon's G Pad 8.3 will launch, but keep it locked to PhoneDog and I'll give you a shout just as soon as more details are available.
