Remember last summer when Google announced its new Nexus 7 and said that the 4G LTE-enabled model would work on AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon? And then how Verizon wasn't selling or activating models because the N7 hadn't yet been certified to work on its network? Well it looks like that certification process finally finished up, because Verizon just announced that it'll finally kick off sales of the 32GB Nexus 7 on Thursday, Feb. 13.

Verizon's pricing for the LTE-capable Nexus 7 will be set at $349.99. Consumers looking to save a few bucks will have the option of signing a two-year contract for the LTE N7 and paying $249.99 for the KitKat-powered slate. And for those folks that've already purchased a unit? Verizon says that those devices will be able to be activated on its network once they've got the latest software update installed.

Google began selling the LTE Nexus 7 with T-Mobile SIM cards in early September and then started offering units with AT&T SIMs later that same month. Now here we are, five months later, the LTE Nexus 7 will finally be available with support for Verizon out of the box. Obviously it's kind of a bummer that it's taken this long to get here, but all that matters now is that consumers will soon be able to get an LTE Nexus 7 up and running on Verizon's network with minimal effort.
