You know the saying "When it rains, it pours?" That definitely applies to the HTC M8, which has starred in a number of different leaks in the past month or so. Today another one has surfaced, and this time we're getting a peek at the software that'll come loaded onto HTC's next flagship smartphone.
An image posted by @evleaks shows a BlinkFeed screen with a status bar, app dock and a set of on-screen navigation buttons. The layout of BlinkFeed looks similar to the versions that we've used in the past, but the background of the feed is a bright green color that extends into the transparent status bar and dock. The app icons in the dock appear to be unchanged from previous versions of Sense, though they seem to have a slight glow surrounding them, and the on-screen keys line up with a leak that surfaced this past weekend.
The HTC M8 is expected to be the follow-up to 2013's HTC One. According to the rumor mill, the device will pack a 5-inch 1080p display with on-screen navigation buttons, a beefier processor and a dual-sensor rear camera setup. There's also a chance that HTC could roll out version 6 of its Sense overlay with the HTC M8, which may be what we're looking at in this newly-leaked screenshot.
This single image doesn't offer up much detail on all the changes that HTC may have planned for Sense 6, but it does give us a peek at what the updated version of BlinkFeed looks like. The good news is that the HTC M8 is reportedly slated to make its debut in late March, so it may not be long before we get to take Sense 6 for a spin ourselves.
