The Nokia Lumia Icon has appeared in so many leaked images and videos since September 2013 that one would be forgiven for thinking that the device was official and in the hands of users. Unfortunately for Windows Phone fans on Verizon, that's not the case, as neither Nokia nor Verizon has uttered a word about the upcoming device. Verizon subscribers have had a fairly steady stream of Lumia Icon leaks to keep them occupied while waiting for an announcement, though, and today that trend continues with yet another leaked image.
Prolific leakster @evleaks has taken to Twitter to share the image you see above, which shows the front of the Lumia Icon's user guide as well as a layout of its various buttons, ports and sensors. Included with the image is the caption "So, February 5th or March 5th?," suggesting that the Lumia Icon could finally reach Verizon's shelves in either a couple of weeks or in a month and half.
The Nokia Lumia Icon is the follow-up to last year's Lumia 928, featuring a 5-inch 1080p display, quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and 20-megapixel PureView camera. Overall it looks like a nice addition to Nokia's Lumia lineup and Verizon's Windows Phone family, especially considering that the big red carrier hasn't launched a new Windows Phone device since the Lumia 928 arrived in May 2013. While it's still unclear when Verizon will launch the Lumia Icon and put an end to its Live Tile drought, the device did briefly appear in Verizon's official online store earlier this week, so here's to hoping that that's an indicator that a release is getting close.
