It's been months since we first got wind of the Nokia Lumia Icon/Lumia 929 for Verizon Wireless, and since that fateful day in September, we've seen the device appear in a multitude of leaks but haven't heard a peep about it from Nokia or Verizon. That trend continues today with even more leaked images and video and even more silence from Nokia and Verizon.

Following the small image leak that surfaced over the weekend, several more photos showing the Lumia Icon/Lumia 929 in the wild. The unit features a squarish frame, several Nokia and Verizon tattoos and a PureView-branded camera on its backside. This latest batch of images comes to us from Chinese online shop Taobao, which has apparently gotten hold of the Lumia Icon ahead of its release and is even offering up some units for sale.

In addition to these new photos, a brief video showing the Lumia Icon in action has been posted to YouTube. The clip, which appears to be a repost of the same video that leaked and then was pulled back in October, gives us a 45-second tour of the Lumia Icon's About screen as well as its hardware.

At this point it's got to be kind of frustrating for Verizon customers to see the Nokia Lumia Icon leak so frequently for so many months without any kind of official announcement regarding its availability. There's still no word on exactly when the thing will launch, but its product page did recently appear on Verizon's test website, so hopefully that's a sign that Nokia and Ol' Red are finally getting ready to give Live Tile lovers on Verizon the new Windows Phone device that they've been waiting months for.
