At this point, we're pretty well-acquainted with the HTC One Max thanks to the multitude of leaks that the phone/tablet hybrid has starred in. Those leaks continued today, but the One Max shown in this latest leaked image features one different feature from the models that we've seen in the past, and this difference is one that I'm betting many U.S.-based consumers will be interested in.
Some new images shared by Android Central forums member "Jeremy Kessous" claim to show an HTC One Max with Verizon branding that replaces the HTC tattoo present on the front of past HTC One Max units. According to Jeremy Kessous, the shots come from a Verizon employee in New Jersey. Kessous claims to have been told by the Verizon worker that not only does the backside of the One Max include a fingerprint scanner, but that its rear cover is removable as well.
This is the first time that we've gotten wind of a Verizon-flavored variant of the One Max, and even though there's no word yet on exactly when the device might be made available to the public, the news that the One Max could be coming to Big Red's shelves is big news, especially considering how long Verizon took to release the original One. The good news is that since these photos came from a Verizon retail employee at physical store, a launch may not be too far off. Another photo of the Verizon-branded One Max is embedded below to keep you occupied until we hear more.
