After launching on Android back in May, it appears that Google's Play Music All Access service may finally make its way to iOS this month. That's according to Engadget, which claims to have been told by "sources aware of Google's plans" that a native Google Play Music app will launch later in October. The app is said to be undergoing internal testing right now and that there are still a few bugs that need to be ironed out before it's rolled out to the public.
Google's Play Music All Access service gives subscribers unlimited access to the Play Music catalog as well as unlimited skips, personalized radio and smart recommendations for $9.99 per month. The service debuted earlier this year at Google I/O and was made available to Android users right away, but since then the service has failed to spread to any other mobile platforms. It's good to hear that that might finally change later this month, though.
Not only will it be nice to see the service on another major platform, but Google has been stepping up its iOS app work quite a bit lately, and so it'll be interesting to see how the Play Music All Access app looks and performs on iOS. Stay tuned and I'll give you a shout once I learn more on the app's launch.
