MT PLEASANT, SC – PhoneDog Media is pleased to announce the monthly winners for September 2013 in the Official Smartphone Rankings™ (OSR). For a sixth month, the HTC One topped the People’s Choice and Expert’s Choice charts, receiving 1,277 reader votes and 155 expert points. HTC’s flagship Android smartphone has received positive marks for its robust specifications, metal body, and wide availability in the United States. In addition to being available on the four nationwide carriers, the HTC One is offered in glacial silver, stealth black, glamor red, and metallic blue.
In second place on the People’s Choice chart, the Samsung Galaxy Note II, with 332 votes. Despite the imminent arrival of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, the Note II continues to resonate with consumers thanks to fantastic hardware and innovative software features. Moving into third place on the People’s Choice chart and displacing the Samsung Galaxy S 4, the LG G2 with 331 votes - one vote behind the Galaxy Note II. On the Expert’s Choice chart, the Samsung Galaxy S 4 placed second with 123 points, while the Moto X moved into third place with 99 points.
