Just as expected, Virgin Mobile is now selling both the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c. The prepaid Sprint MVNO has all of the different colors and capacities listed on its website, though not every model is actually in stock as of this writing, and it's also worth noting that the 32GB and higher versions are only available online.
When it comes to pricing, Virgin Mobile's handset costs are a little higher than the subsidized prices offered by the major operators because it doesn't deal in contracts. Pricing for Virgin's iPhone 5s is set at $549.99 for the 16GB model, $649.99 for 32GB or $749.99 for the capacious 64GB variant. The iPhone 5c is available with 16GB of storage for $449.99 or 32GB for $549.99. Those prices are $100 discount lower than Apple's own full retail handset pricing.
Virgin Mobile has been selling iPhones since mid-2012, and it's good to see VM keep that up by launching the iPhone 5s and 5c less than two weeks after the four major U.S. operators. Occasionally it can take a while for new flagship smartphones to spread from the bigger carriers to the smaller, prepaid ones, but thankfully that wasn't the case here.
