After kicking off pre-orders for its flavors of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear at the start of September, AT&T today announced when both devices will officially launch in stores. The big blue carrier says that the Note 3 and Gear will hit its stores, both online and physical, on Oct. 4. Pricing for the Galaxy Note 3 will be set at $299.99 with a two-year commitment, $35 per month on AT&T Next or $749.99 without a contract. The Galaxy Gear will be available for $299.99.
Today's announcement makes AT&T the third major U.S. carrier to spill its Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear launch plans. So far we've marked T-Mobile down for an Oct. 2 launch, and then AT&T and Sprint are set to add Samsung's new hardware to their shelves two days later on Oct. 4. It's good to see that the Note 3 and Gear are hitting the major operators around the same time, because if there's anything worse than waiting for a highly-anticipated device to arrive, it's being forced to wait around while watching carriers other than your own launch that same product.
