Grab your calendars, Verizon Windows Phone fans, because we've now got a date on which you may be able to purchase that Nokia Lumia 929 that leaked out last weekend.
Sources speaking to WPCentral claim that the Lumia 929 currently features an inventory date of Nov. 6 in Verizon's systems, suggesting that the device will land on Big Red around 6 months after the Lumia 928 made its debut. The inventory listing is said to include entries for black and white versions of the Lumia 929, as well as an off-contract price of $500. Rounding out the list of leaked information available about the 929 so far is a spec sheet that includes a 20-megapixel PureView camera and 1080p display of unknown size.
A second Nokia Lumia device has been leaked alongside the Lumia 929. According to a tweet from @evleaks, Nokia is prepping a new handset known as the Lumia 525, which also goes by the codename "Glee." Details on this phone are pretty light, but the model number suggests that it's a follow-up to the entry-level Lumia 520 that debuted at MWC earlier this year. Additionally, the codename "Glee" could be a reference to the popular musical TV show of the same name, which could indicate that the Lumia 525 will be a music-focused device.
Nokia will hold an "Innovation Reinvented" event in Abu Dhabi on Oct. 22, and the Finnish firm is expected to use the shindig to shower us with new hardware and other goodies. We're currently expecting at least six new devices, including the 6-inch Lumia 1520 and Lumia 2520 Windows RT tablet, as well as some accessories and a new Storyteller app. It's possible that the Lumia 525 could make an appearance as well, and while the Lumia 929 could also show up, the fact that it's a Verizon-specific device makes it seem unlikely that it would show up at an event in Abu Dhabi. Of all the Nokia products that are rumored to be in the pipeline, which are you most excited for?
