Following LG's recent announcement that the G2 will begin arriving in the U.S. later this month, two major carriers have come forward to share their launch plans for the new flagship device. Verizon says that it will begin selling the LG G2 on online and in stores on Sept. 12 for $199.99 with a two-year commitment.
Meanwhile, T-Mobile customers will be able to snag a G2 from their carrier's website starting on Sept. 18, with in-store availability expected a week later on Sept. 25. Pricing will be set at a down payment of $99.99 along with 24 monthly installments of $21 each. T-Mobile also notes that it will offer black and white versions of the G2, but that the white model will only be sold online. Finally, T-Mo also announced this morning that the Optimus F6 will be available online starting Sept. 5 and in stores on Sept. 11 for a $49.99 down and 24 monthly payments of $10.
As a quick refresher, the G2 is LG's new flagship smartphone, sporting a 5.2-inch 1080p display and quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor. The G2 also features a 13-megapixel camera, complete with a unique set of rear-mounted volume and power buttons, as well as a 2.1-megapixel front camera and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. That's a pretty high-end feature set, and it makes sense that LG would pack the G2 to the brim with bleeding edge specs since it'll be directly competing with some other impressive smartphones.
